A 27-year-old man has appeared in court charged with carrying out a robbery in Carmarthen while brandishing a knife last week.
A 27-year-old man has been charged with robbery and possessing an offensive weapon in relation to an incident that took place on Carmarthen, at approximately 9.50pm on Monday, July 20.
Christopher Paul Jones, of St Catherine’s Street, Carmarthen, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Courts on Monday, July 27, and has been remanded in custody.
Jones is accused of carrying out a robbery at the Spar store on King Street, Carmarthen, at knife-point.
He will appear before Swansea Crown Court on Friday, August 7.
