An Amman Valley fundraiser is seeking talented performers to take part in a charity contest in Brynaman rugby club.

Jacqui Davies has organised Amman Valley’s Got Talent and is calling on anyone who would like to showcase their talent to get in touch.

The event takes place in the rugby club on Friday, October 9 at 7.30pm where the Britain’s Got Talent style competition will take place.

“It is set to be a fantastic night of variety performances,” said Jacqui. “It will be set up just like the TV show, with three judges and the winner will be crowned on the night.” Contests can showcase any variety of talent.

“We even welcome pets,” added Jacqui.

“There will also be lots going on including raffle, guess the weight of a semi-naked person, plus refreshments.”

The winner on the night will receive a cash prize of £100.

You must register before the event, acts turning up on the day will not be able to take part.

Tickets on the night are £6 in advance or £7 on the door.

Money raised will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care in support of Helen Calow of Ammanford’s John Francis Estate Agent who is taking on a trek for the charity.
