ARE you are fed up of working nine to five and interested in uprooting to start a whole new business? then a TV company has all the life changing answers you have been searching for.

Pi Productions, an independent television company run by Grand Designs and MasterChef creator John Silver, are currently casting for a new prime-time Channel 5 documentary and are looking for people who are moving to or have just moved to Carmarthenshire or the wider South Wales area.

Pi Productions are looking for six ambition families or couples who are planning to ditch the day job to relocate and pursue a career in something they are passionate about. It could be running a smallholding boarding kennel, setting up a restaurant or even opening a surf school.

The production team have heard that lifestyle business owners are attracted to the area because of the fantastic tourism opportunities such as the stunning Brecon Beacons and famous Carmarthenshire castles. They want to showcase the amazing opportunities available and show what it takes to make a new venture succeed.

With 213,000 active small to medium businesses in Wales, which is over 99% of Welsh companies, creating thousands of new jobs and more than £100 million in additional economic output, the production team feel it’s the right time to look at what it takes to leave everything behind and start your own business.

Where would you move to? How would you raise the funds? Would the children be happy? Pi Productions want to answer the questions that people all over the country worry about in their new programme.

The team are also offering finder’s fees of £250 for those individials who find a story which ends up being broadcast on the TV series. Filming is set to take place for four to five months this summer.
