FANS of UB40 will be able to see some of their greatest hits live as the band is due to stop in Cardiff on their The Hits Tour next year.

UB40 featuring Ali Campbell will be on tour across the UK celebrating their biggest hits including Red Red Wine, Cherry Oh Baby, Many Rivers to Cross, Please Don’t Make Me Cry, Kingston Town and covers of I Got You Babe and (I Can’t Help) Falling in Love With You.

The tour announcement came as Ali Campbell celebrated UB40 being inducted into the Music Walk of Fame with an intimate show at Koko in London, there was also a ceremony with a stone unveiled on the Walk of Fame on Camden High Street.

The tour also comes as the band celebrates 40 years since the release of seminal album Labour of Love (released on September 12, 1983), which produced some of the band’s greatest hits.

UB40 have sold more than 70 million records across the world.

On the tour with UB40 and Ali Campbell will be special guest Bitty McLean.
