A 16-YEAR-OLD drove a car at “excessive speed and erratically” on the A474 in Ammanford.
The teenager – who cannot be named due to their age – appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court charged with driving without due care and attention, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.
It was alleged that the defendant drove a Peugeot 207 on the A474 “at excessive speed and erratically” on December 29, the court heard.
Being 16, the defendant did not have a licence or insurance.

The teenager, from Ammanford, pleaded guilty to each of the charges at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on January 16.
They were fined £120, and must pay £85 in costs and a £48 surcharge. The court also banned the teenager from driving for six months.
