A CARMARTHENSHIRE man will appear at Swansea Crown Court charged with assaulting a police officer and obstructing their colleague.
Martin King, 54, of Waungoch in Upper Tumble, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on January 16.
It was alleged that he obstructed a police officer in the execution of his duties in Tumble on January 30 last year. He was also accused of assaulting a second officer.

The case was heard at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on January 16, where it was sent to Swansea Crown Court and King was granted bail.
The defendant will appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing on February 13.
