Cwmaman 61.5 Parc William 77
Cwmaman suffered another defeat in the Llanelli and District Bowls League, but the result was certainly no disgrace for the hosts.
Cwmaman put on a decent show against visiting Parc William at Cwmaman Park green, but were again left to rue their lack of numbers.
Playing one short, Cwm had to play with just a three on Rink Two and found the handicap too much from the start - skip James Davies’ trio ultimately losing 21-10.5.
There were Cwmaman successes though.
Their best rink of the afternoon enjoy a convincing 20-15 victory on Rink Three where skip Alan Thomas’ quartet did the business.
There was a further league points earned on Rink Four where Alun Morris’ boys shared the spoils with a 16-16 draw.
Cwmaman earned three league points with Parc taking home the lions’ share of 11.
The match was sponsored by Wyn’s Autos, Glanaman.

Rink Two: John Milbourne, Gareth Williams, James Davies (skip) 10.5; P Jones 21.
