The new Llanelli and District Snooker League season kicked off with the opening round of the Harry Watkins Cup team event.
In Division One, there were wins for Morfa against Llanesco B, and for Burry Port Legion against Cross Hands.
Also through are two Pontarddulais sides as Pont Cons saw off New Lodge A while Pontarddulais Workmens’ defeated Llandybie Social.
In the Division Two section, Penygroes RFC knocked out Burry Port Reading Room Blues while CGMD, Glanaman, defeated Matchroom A 4-0.
Another Amman Valley side, Garnant Club went through at the expense of Llandybie Social B.
Tycroes RFC A are also through after beating Electricity.
Great Mountain, Tumble, beat Cross Hands in Division Three, where Ponthenri Social saw off Llandeilo Hall.
Elsewhere, Gorseinon Workmens’ defeated Tycroes RFC B and Upper Tumble Reds knocked out New Lodge B.
