Division Three West A

Tumble 32 Penybanc 20

Troubled again by unavailability and late withdrawals, Penybanc travelled to the Gwendraeth Valley looking for a third victory of the season over the Magpies as the third and fourth-placed teams in Division Three West A met.

The hosts started far the better and soon found themselves 10-0 up as a series of silly mistakes cost the visitors dear and Tumble enjoyed a two-try cushion.

Things went from bad to worse for Banc as Tumble crossed the whitewash again before the interval.

The Tigers finally switched on in the second half and ran in four tries as Rhodri Jones, Chris Jones and James Turrell all touched down and a penalty try was added, but it was all too little too late and Tumble fully deserved their win.

Carl Rees, Mark Tench and skipper Adrian Pugh put in tremendous shifts for the Tigers along with open side Aled Danter who claimed the man of the match award after yet another fine performance.

Penybanc entertain Lampeter on Saturday.
