Cwmamman rallied to grab a draw on their trip to Wheatsheaf, managing to nick a few late shots to force the tie.

The two sides each collected six league points with the rinks also being shared.

Skip John Jones’ four led 20-9 at one stage, before being forced to hold on to land a 21-17 win.

Byron Davies’ boys meanwhile led 15-11 before being pegged back, and found themselves being eventually beaten 18-15.

Skip Dyfed Lewis’ rink was the other Cwmamman success, winning 24-19.

Things are certainly looking up for club, for whom Laurence Molloy, Mike Williams, Julie Williams, Peter Jones and John Jones have all passed coaching qualifications.

The recogniti0on allows the five to pass on their knowledge to enthusiastic youngsters every Tuesday.

Another new club member, Peter Williams has also been warmly welcomed to the club’s ranks.
