THE Hearth Storytellers are set to hold an afternoon of traditional storytelling in a relaxed family setting in Ammanford next month.

Audiences are asked to bring a cushion and join in the story circle where they can listen and even share their tales.

Folk Tales, Myths & Legends, Animal Stories along with background of live music from David Pitt are all going to be a part of the days activities.

The groups of storytellers are made up of David Pitt, Carl Gough and Eleanor Shaw.

The collective said that they are really looking forward to telling stories again at The Miners Theatre and are very excited about telling stories to the young and old.

Group member Eleanor Show said: "We are living in times where technology is taking over, so traditional stories help us stay grounded and let our imagination take over."

The storytelling event takes place on Saturday, August 13 at 3pm at The Miners Theatre in Ammanford.

Tickets are priced at £5 each and £15 for a family ticket. Organisers are asking to please bring a cushion along to the event.
